About Word or Excel to PDF
Lays out a Word .docx or Excel .xlsx as a PDF, with headings, lists, tables, links and pictures, and the words kept as real text. A Word file keeps its page size, its headers and footers with their page numbers, and its footnotes. Spreadsheets repeat their heading row on every page. Fonts become the nearest of Helvetica, Times or Courier.
How to use it
- Add one or more .docx or .xlsx files.
- Press Make the PDF.
- Look through the result, especially tables and any lines in Malayalam, Hindi or other scripts.
- Save the PDF, or tap Then to merge it with others or compress it.
Good to know
A Word document keeps its own page size and its headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, links and pictures; its header and footer go on every page, with Page 3 of 9 worked out for real, and its footnotes are gathered under Notes at the end. An Excel workbook comes out on A4, one sheet after another, each as a table whose heading row comes back at the top of every page. Columns empty all the way down are left out, a sheet too wide for an upright page goes on sideways pages, and a very wide one is set in smaller type so every column fits.
The PDF uses its three built-in faces, Helvetica, Times and Courier, so the words stay real, selectable text and the file stays small; a document set in a special font will look plainer. Lines those faces cannot draw, such as Malayalam or Hindi, are drawn by your browser and placed as pictures. Dates and amounts in a spreadsheet appear as their cells show them, so 09/04/2026 stays 09/04/2026.
If Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice is to hand, its own Save as PDF keeps your exact fonts and spacing. This tool is for a phone, a borrowed computer, or a work machine where documents must not be uploaded to a converter site. Old .doc and .xls files need saving as .docx or .xlsx first.

No. Save them as .docx or .xlsx first.
Does Malayalam or Hindi text work?
It shows correctly: lines the PDF fonts cannot draw are drawn by your browser and placed as pictures, so those lines cannot be selected or searched.
Can I convert several files at once?
Yes. Each becomes its own PDF; join them with Merge afterwards if you need one file.
